He was predeceased by: his parents, Casper Sr. Haas and Anna Haas; his son Scott Haas; his grandson Jeremy Haas; his great grandchild Mila Kuzek; his son-in-law Shane Thompson; and his siblings, Roy Haas and Eva Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Haas; his children, Terry (Wally Pasloski), Bonnie (Verne Trowell), Bob Haas (Susan), Shannon (Ron Thiesen) and Kim Thompson; his daughter-in-law Beth Haas; his grandchildren, Sarah (Bryce), Kaitlyn (Chris), Chelsea (Jaret), Layne (Monique), Dylan (Brittany), Rylan, Brenan, Tyson, Jay (Sarah), Kyla (Kyle), Tyler (Morgan), Jenna (Derek), Jordan (Niki), Nathan, Hunter and Connor; and his great grandchildren, Deklyn, Landyn, Emersyn, Rayna, Tristan, Andi, Theo, Jaylene, Rowan, Grayson, Nora, Ashlyn, Levi, Chloe, Beckett, Camryn, Maisy, Rylee and Freya.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Saltcoats & District Community Hall (203 Glasgow Ave, Saltcoats, SK S0A3R0).
Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society as gifts of remembrance.
