She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Daniel, Clara Ruf, Albert and Katie Reitenbach. She is survived by: her parents, Don Ruf and Sylvia Ruf; her husband Scott; her sisters, Ronda Ivens (Sean) and Cindy Hawcutt (Garry); her nieces, Shayla Louw (Schane) and Kayla Hawcutt (Cody); her nephew Liam Weiss; her great-niece Kinzee Louw; her mother-in-law Carol Bown; and her sister-in-law Tammy Griffeth (Ken).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Cherie Bown may be made to a Charity of One's Choice as gifts of remembrance.
