He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ward and Irene Ward; his brother Henry Ward; his brother-in-law Harold Duffy Sr.; his grandchildren, Christian Ward and Gabriella Ward; his nieces, Catherine Ward and Giselle Bercier; and his nephew Kristopher Duffy.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ward; his sons, Dennis, Christopher and Jamie; his sister Flora Duffy; his children, Angela, Harold and Katherine; his sister Valerie Bercier (Raymond); his daughters, Michelle and Terri; his brother Albert Ward (Linda); and his daughter Kirsten. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the CNIB or to the Alzheimer Society as gifts of remembrance.
