He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold Bohn and Edna Bohn; his brother Vance Bohn; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Judith Mihalicz; and his brother-in-law Jim Mihalicz.

He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughters, Joelle (Derek) and Michelle Karcha (Kurt) of Yorkton, SK; his sister Carolyn Dockter (Ivahn) of Rochester, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Ardice Bohn of Yorkton, SK, Garry Mihalicz (Sherry) of Saskatoon, SK, Dave Mihalicz (Bev) of Assiniboia, SK, Ken Mihalicz (Debbie) of Lintlaw, SK and Faye Nystedt (Vern) of Brandon, MB. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
