He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Smuk and Mary Smuk; his brother Mervin Smuk; his brothers-in-law, Ivar Brass, Darcy Johnson and Don McFadyen; and his father-in-law Glen Larry Johnson.
He is survived by : his nephew Tad (Tad); his caregiver Darcy; his children, Jazlynn and Waylan Smuk; the parent of his children Jackie; his siblings, Tad Keltie (Denise), Darlene Chepil (Ted), Marlene McFadyen, Muriel Dmyterko (Victor), Ken Smuk, Terry Smuk, Garry Smuk and Theresa Heuchert (Wes); his mother-in-law Eleanor Brass-Brazeau; and his daughter Willow. He is also survived by many friends, in-laws.
