She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Reimer and Christina Reimer; her husband Albert Wegner; and her siblings, Milton (Pat), Gordon (Claire) and Laura Wegner (Adolph).
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Fenske (Doug) of Leduc, AB, Mavis Hugo (Kirby) of Claresholm, AB, Janice Doty (Jay) of Sundre, AB and Cheryl Deck (Terry) of Lumsden, SK; her grandchildren, Hal, Curtis, Cody (Kendra), Dana (Shayne), Mikayla (Harley), Owen (Taylor), Brady (Maranda), Shelby and Sara; and her great grandchildren, Peytan and Lacey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre.
Memorial donations in memory of Elsie Wegner may be made to a Charity of One's Choice as gifts of remembrance.
