She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Richard Retz and Lydia Heckert; her children, Howard, Dale, Randy, Valla, Shona, Sheldon and Melanie; her friends, Edwin, Theresa Hoffman, Arthur, Frances Fritzke, Art, Myrtel Fiege, Donna Milbrandt (Hoffman) and Angela Sass (Tretiak); her significant other Walter Lloyd Hoffman; and her son Terry Kevin Hoffman. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Donations in memory of Esther Hoffman may be made to a charity of ones choice as tokens of remembrance.
