He was predeceased by: his father Roderick MacNeil; and his brother Michael MacNeil. He is survived by: his siblings, Lynn Stevens Roth (Daniel), David MacNeil (Cheryl) and Gwen Staltari; his children, Tara Carpenter (Ryan), Steven MacNeil (Vanessa) and Angela Brown (Tim); and his close friend Valerie Stricker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
