He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chornawka and Lena Chornawka; his wife Mary Chornawka; his grandson Jonathan Rosin; his siblings, George and Mary; his brother-in-law George; his sister Elsie; and his siblings-in-law, Wasyl and Shirley Chornawka.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Brenda (Brad); his children, Donna (Brad), Jaelynn (Max), Jordan, Karen (Brad), Kayla, Patty (Bob), Devin (Gillian), Megan (Sam), Craig (Brenda), Tanner and Haley (Ethan); his great grandchild Kaine; and his brother Bill.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre.

Memorial donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church Cemetery Fund, MacNutt as gifts of remembrance.
