John Uhryn Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Uhryn (Yorkton, Saskatchewan), who passed away on January 5, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Uhryn and Katie Uhryn; his siblings, Eddy and Fran Uhryn; his brother-in-law Walter Belay; his parents-in-law, Sheila and Lynn Shiells; his stepson Scott Gage; his son-in-law Pete Groenewald; and his grandsons, Karson and Oliver.

He is survived by: his family, Annette, Amanda, Carla, Kevin, Aimee, Jannah and Gayla; his wife Heather; his children, Annette Uhryn, Amanda Uhryn, Carla Groenewald, Kevin Uhryn, Aimee Guy (Stewart), Jannah Thomas (Gerwyn), Gayla Dionne (Chad) and Mark Gage; his grandchildren, Tristen (Kaybrie), Kate, Casey, Emry, Brooklynn, Tessa, Mason, Keegan, Sophia, Drew and Hudson; his siblings, Theresa Denischuk (Walter), Pat Belay, Wes Uhryn (Donna), Peter Uhryn (Susan) and Ben Uhryn (Teresa); his brother-in-law Barry Shiells (Katherine); and his goddaughters, Lynne, Cheryl and Bernadette. He is also survived by family, 'The Gang', many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
