It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Shumay (Yorkton, Saskatchewan), who passed away on March 31, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his son Chad; his parents, Steve and Olga; his grandparents, Nick, Helen Shumay, Mike and Lena Biblow; his siblings, Donna Berrns (Kevin), Darlene Evdokimoff (Andy Wishlow) and Darcy Shumay; his nieces, Brooklyn Berrns (Mitch Magera), Katelyn Reding (Devin) and Marissa Evdokimoff; and his nephew Nicholas Evdokimoff. He was also cherished by many cousins, his aunts and uncles, and countless friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 5th 2021 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bailey's Funeral Home (45 Fifth Ave N, Yorkton, SK S3N0Y9). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 6th 2021 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church (155 Catherine St, Yorkton, SK S3N0B9). Wearing masks and physical distancing will be observed.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (1738 Quebec Ave. Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1V9) or St. Mary's Church (155 Catherine St., Yorkton, SK. S3N 0B9) as gifts of remembrance.
