With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion Matechuk in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, who passed away on July 7, 2022 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marion Matechuk to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Derworiz and Evelyn Derworiz; her parents-in-law, Nick and Pauline Matechuk; and her brother-in-law Steve Cherkas.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Val) of Regina and Kevin (Vanessa); her husband Glenn Matechuk; her granddaughter Kasie of Regina Beach; her siblings, Margaret Boychuk (Gerald), Theresa Derworiz, Liz Rotinsky (Stan) and Ernie Derworiz (Kathy); and her parents-in-law, Phyl Cherkas, Garry Matechuk (Val), Bernie Laevens (Craig) and Terry Matechuk (Kim). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan as gifts of remembrance.
