She was predeceased by: her parents, Zennovia and Wasyl; her husband Metro Kowalyshen; her siblings, Alex and Pauline; and her daughters, Katherine and Linda.

She is survived by: her daughter Sherry; her family, Katherine, Christine, Linda and Gary; her sister Sylvia; her children, Donald, Christine (Les) and Gary; her grandchildren, Jamie, Sabrina (Jordan), Kyle (Tara), Joshua (Kelsey), Sarah (Eric), Jessica (Justin) and Wyatt (Maddy); and her great grandchildren, Quentin, Maddox, Hendrix, Harper, Drake, Raina, Paxton and Knighton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
