He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Pamela (Benjamin Waite); his granddaughters, Sawyer and Avery; his son Adam; his wife Yolande; his mother Beth; his siblings, Don (Susan) and Lori (Gary Willcocks); and his mother-in-law Edith Rondeau. He was also cherished by brothers and sisters in law and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in Mike's memory to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre or Canadian Mental Health Association.
