He was predeceased by: his parents, Wasyl Rusnak and Domka Rusnak; his siblings, Nick (Ruth), Bill (Faye), John, Mary (Bill), Kay (Steve), Anne (Nick), Margaret (Dave), Iris (Bill) and Olga; his brothers-in-law, Dave (Margaret) and Arnold Davidson; his great grandchild Grayson Rieger; and his grandson Grayson.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Davidson; his sister Sophie Husulak (Steve); his sister-in-law Olga Rusnak; his stepson Wayne Rusnak (Diane); his stepgrandchildren, Lee (Jodie), Emma, Ali, Ty, Brett (Claudia), Lara (Shawn), Dylan, Bryn, Todd (Kim), Holt and Cozie; his daughter Joann Zapshalla (Barry); his grandchildren, Jake (Britainy), William, Katie, Brock and Logan (Shelby); his son David Rusnak (Laurie Anne); and his grandchildren, Christopher (Beth), Janna Lea Isla (Justin), Maddux, Cassandra (Cameron), Elliahna and Avalynn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
