With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Baranesky of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, who passed away on May 18, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Metro Baranesky and Lena Baranesky (Chocorlan); his siblings, Victoria, Martin and Bill; his sisters-in-law, Gloria Baranesky and Violet Minken; and also, Alex, Katie Minken and Bunny Kreklewetz.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Minken; his children, Ian and Laura (Rob); his grandchildren, Poppy and Oliver; his brothers, Peter and Alex (Rose); and his siblings-in-law, Anna Baranesky and Gordon Minken (Vivianne). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Even with Mike's dementia they entertained together with Don & Friends band at many nursing homes, and senior places even after COVID started.
