He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Steve Chernipeski and Agoffia Chernipeski (Maleschuk); his wife Bernice Tataryn; his children, Brian Chernipeski (Maryana), Carla DeWarle (John), Janine Chernipeski and Debra Grabo (Desmond); his grandson John Austin DeWarle; his children, Denai, Devaney and Daila Grabo; his siblings, Alex (Adelle), Edward, Steve (Marina) and Emillie; and his parents-in-law, Lillian, Marjorie, Albert (Hilde), Russell (Carol), Ben, Alfred (Vickie) and Florence. He was also cherished by forty-two nieces and nephews, and many extended relatives and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to ADRA or St. Mary's Cemetery, Theodore as gifts of remembrance.
