He was predeceased by: his parents, Dmytro Katerynych and Maria Katerynych; his wife Anne; his siblings, Anne Schensney (Stanley), Bella Worotniuk (Bill), Doris Kostiuk (Peter), Marie Kwas (Peter), Peter Katerynych, George Katerynych, John Katerynych (Antonette) and Bill Katerynych (Marie); his siblings-in-law, John Marusiak and Mary Sereda; and also, John Sereda (Katie), Metro Sereda (Mary), Bill Sereda and Steve Sereda.
He is survived by: his daughter Diane; his son-in-law Larry Monette; his granddaughter Carly (Craig Stein); his great grandchildren, Bailey, Kaiden and Logan; his brother Paul Katerynych; and his parents-in-law, Sophie Marusiak, Henry, Irene Sereda, Martin Sereda, Maureen Sereda and Eugenia Sereda. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
