He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Heise and Albert Heise; his wife Wendy Heise (Bjarnason); his son Rick Heise; his sister Betty Fenuk; his parents-in-law, Herb and Betty Bjarnason; and his brother-in-law Ed Fenuk.
He is survived by: his son Rod Heise (Corrine); his daughter-in-law Erin Heise; his granddaughters, Shelby, Sara, Hannah and Jolie Heise; his siblings, Bert Heise (Linda), Helen Lippai (Joe) and Linda Meffen; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Bjarnason (Grace), Woody Bjarnason (Pat) and Doug Bjarnason (Marilyn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Concordia Lutheran Church (310 Poplar Cres, Churchbridge, SK S0A0M0). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at the Concordia Lutheran Cemetery.
