He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Emmanuel Poppenheim and Martha Poppenheim (Robertus); his stepfather Jacob Mehling; his grandparents, George and Mary Robertus; his nephew Ward Allen Oystrick; his niece Loretta Glute; his wife Judith Schaan (Judy); his sons, Jeffrey (Lisa) of Stornoway, SK, Neil (Karen) of Yorkton, SK and Jason (Collin) of Saskatoon, SK.; his grandchildren, Kelsey Nordal (Matt) of Stornoway, SK and Cody Poppenheim (Allison) of Ebenezer, SK.; his great grandchildren, Maximus, Niko, Lilly Nordal, Jaicee and Jersey Poppenheim; his sisters, Sylvia Ruf (Lorne) of Yorkton, SK and Joy Oystrick (Alex) of Yorkton, SK.; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Spilchen (Henry) of Yorkton, SK, Elizabeth Boychuk of Edmonton, AB, Rose Schaan of Kamsack, SK. and Calvin Schaan of Langenburg, SK.; and his aunt Marie Hintz (Alfred) of Winnipeg, MB. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
