Stella Akister Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on September 29, 2025, at the age of 73, Stella Akister (Yorkton, Saskatchewan), born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Teichroeb and Mary Teichroeb; and her husbands, Bill Neustaeter and Dave Akister. She is survived by: her children, Judy Englot (Darrell) and Jeff Akister (Vanessa); her granddaughter Deanna Wolanski (Stephan); her great grandchildren, Makale and Kaydence; her siblings, Dan Teichroeb (Karin) and Lavina Moat; Richard Akister (Shirley), Pam Richardson (Dale), Wayne Akister (Kelley), Lynn Akister (Murray) and Chuck Akister (Gail). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
