She was predeceased by: her son Gordon Beckett of Whitehorse; her parents, Alexander Scott and Grace Scott of Inverness; and her brothers, James Scott (Jim) of Inverness and John Scott (Jack).
She is survived by: her daughter Rowena; her son-in-law Mark Klubi; her grandchildren, Deanna and Alexander; and her husband Stanley.
In lieu of flowers, Kay asked that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity, organization or volunteer position of your choice.
