He was predeceased by: his mother Maud Abbott; and his sisters, Ethel and Ellen. He is survived by: his wife Pansy; his daughters, Lorna Tucker (Wayne) and Lynn Rice-Rideout (Vic); his grandchildren, Kirk Tucker (Sarah) and Kristian Rideout (Dominique); and his pet Milo.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Paddlers Abreast or the B.C. Children's Hospital.
