She was predeceased by : her husband John O'Connor; her daughter Catherine; her sister Marie; and her parents, Lyda and Francis Gottenbos. She is also survived by her 7 children and their spouses, 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 6 brothers and sisters, and many friends.
