I grew up next to David’s Uncle Leo and David called my father and mother for years and when my Dad passed he called me every week for the past 31 years. I will miss his happy voice and those weekly calls. Rest in Peace David. You will be missed.

I met Robin in high school while playing Sunday afternoon tackle football. When I met him, though, he went by the nickname, “Chickenhead,” because of the way his hair stood up when he played. We met again a short time later at Highland Baptist Church after I joined the youth group there. We did a lot of things together during those years until I moved away, but I am confident that I will meet him again.

I net Norm at the St. Maty's 45th class reunion, he was a good friend of my husband, Stephen. For the class reunion we were suppose to create a basket representing the state in which we lived, living in Georgia, I created one that had a sleeve of golf balls from Augusta National, Norm was quick to spot the golf balls and made sure he got that basket. I still have a photo of him holding it behind his back :)
