He is survived by: his significant other Marie; his children-in-law, Jenni Newland, John Newland (New Plymouth), Shirlee Barrow, Steve Barrow (Waverley), Linda Glover, Mark Glover (Auckland), Andrew, Rae (Waverley), Chris and Maryanne (Waverley); and his sibling Lil Hyde (Waitara).
