He was predeceased by: his children, Shirley (Steve Mulcahy) and John. He is survived by: his spouse Noeline; and his children, Debbie (Peter Hope), Lorraine (Brent James), Wendy (Andrew), Marie (Shane Brennan), Brian (Gail) and Judith (Lloyd Gattsche). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Much loved husband of Noeline for 59 years, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Debbie and Peter Hope, Shirley (deceased) and Steve Mulcahy, Lorraine and Brent James, Wendy and Andrew, Marie and Shane Brennan, Brian and Gail, Judith and Lloyd Gattsche, and John (deceased), much loved Grandad of 25 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. "Will be sadly missed by us all" In lieu of a floral tribute a donation made to the Manawatu Centre Cancer Society, c/- PO Box 5170, Palmerston North 4441, would be appreciated or may be left in Church foyer.
