He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Louis and June Louis; and his parent-in-law John Braithwaite. He is survived by: his spouse Eileen; his parent-in-law Lyn Braithwaite; his siblings, Michele (Phil Driver) and Paul (DyAnn); his siblings-in-law, Phil Braithwaite, Shelley Morris (Kaiapoi), Nancy Braithwaite and Ian Rasmussen (Pohangina); and his nieces and nephews, Jamie, Emma, Kelsey, Sophie and Hannah.

Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Eileen, loved son of the late Don and June Louis, and loved son-in-law of the late John and Lyn Braithwaite, loved brother and brother-in-law of Michele and Phil Driver, and Paul and DyAnn (USA), loved brother-in-law of Phil Braithwaite and Shelley Morris (Kaiapoi), and Nancy Braithwaite and Ian Rasmussen (Pohangina), and loved uncle of Jamie and Emma; Kelsey; Sophie and Hannah.
