He was predeceased by : his parents, Koroheke Hamiora Tait and Daisy Morehu Tait; and his siblings, Joe (Betty Tait), Darryl Tait and Audrey Tait.
He is survived by : his brothers, Donald and Jack Nepson; and his children, Paitu, Jillian (Mike), Judy (Tony) and Winiata.
