She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Hugh; her children-in-law, Mark, Maureen (Christchurch), Murray, Anna (Sydney), Jill, Joe Baker (Palmerston North) and Alister (Palmerston North); her parents, Alfred Joyce and Mollie Joyce; and her sibling Peter.

Donations in lieu of flowers to the Arohanui Hospice would be appreciated and may be left in the Chapel foyer.
