With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Assina Woodward (Paraparaumu, North Island), who passed away on April 20, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Assina departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Assina. Though Assina may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Warwick; her friend Maxine; and her sons, Miles and Mark. She was also cherished by Grandmother of her 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kapiti Coast Funeral Home Chapel.
