She was predeceased by : her husband David; her son Hugh; her parents, Rev. John Hodgson and Elizabeth Hodgson (Bessie); and her brother Philip.

She is survived by : her children, Chris (Greytown), Nick, Robyn (Auckland), Merryn and Andrew Malcolm (Kapiti Coast); her grandchildren, Greytown', David, Alicia, Sam, Hayley, Josh, Jacqui, Angus and Kate; her great grandchildren, Holly-Rose and Elliott; and her siblings, John and Miriam.
