It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie June Malcolm (Paraparaumu, North Island), who passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John; her son Sid; and her great grandchildren, Zoe and Ryleigh. She is survived by: her children, Jean, Chris, Andrew, Merryn, Robyn, Tric and Jason; her grandchildren, David, Alicia, Sam, Hayley, Josh, Jacqui, Angus, Kate, Jessie, Ciaran, Rose, Charlotte, Trinity and Gigi; and her great grandchildren, Holly-Rose, Elliott, Lily and Carter.

A funeral service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St Paul's Anglican Church.
