He was predeceased by : his siblings, John Hansen and Lloma Harnett. He is survived by : his spouse Christine; his child Miles; his child-in-law Shannon; his grandchild Anna; his stepgrandchild Georgia; his siblings, Pat Hansen and Ken Harnett; and his siblings-in-law, Heather, Peter Monks, Bill, Graeme and Gael Sanders.
