Robert Sloan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Robert Sloan (Blenheim, South Island). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his spouse Bridget Kathleen (Kay); his sibling Eamon (Elizabeth); and his sibling-in-law Sean Gallagher (Palmerston North). He is survived by : his children, Ciaran (Helen), Cathy-Ann (Mike), Rob (Vanessa), Brian (Tracy) and Terry (Audrey); his grandchildren, Emma, Conal, Liam, Hannah, Joseph, Jamie, Rosie, Tod, Jet, Finn, Tom and Billy; his great grandchildren, Niamh and Harry; his siblings, Katherine Healy (John), Lily Murphy (Gerry), Albert (Bernadette), Mary Farquhar (Billy) and Agnes Taylor (David); and his siblings-in-law, May Gallagher, Eileen Burns, Colin Burns, Terry Lyons and Hannah-Jo Lyons.

Heartfelt thanks for the enormous efforts from all the talented caregivers and supporters who assisted Bobbie in so many ways, especially the gifted staff at 'The Oaks". In lieu of flowers, a donation to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 63 High Street, Blenheim 7201 would be appreciated or may be made at the service. Bobbie's life will be celebrated at a Requiem Mass at St Mary's Catholic Church, Maxwell Road, Blenheim, on Wednesday, October 24, at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation at the Cloudy Bay Crematorium.
