He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Paterson (Stuart) and Eva Paterson; and his brother Tom (Anne). He is survived by : his wife Margaret; his children, Lee, Katrina (Darrell Smith) and Sally (Bruce Hinkley); his grandchildren, Tom, Kyle, Emma, Tara, Vaughn, Reed and Eva; his great grandchildren, Bazil, Jack and Hazel; and his siblings, Leon (Neroli), Trevor (Joy), John (Jill Dwyer) and Maureen (Frank van Koeverden). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
