He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; and his siblings, Geoffrey, Sue, Trevor and Jan.
He is survived by: his children, Suzanne (David), Andrew, Sonia, Justine (Brent) and Hamish (Jody); his siblings, Linda and Dennis; his grandchildren, James, Mandy, Lucy, Shaun, Troy, Rory, Jorja and Evan; his great grandchildren, May and Judd; his nieces and nephews, Crystal, Kelly, Michelle and Mark; and his caregiver Kathryn.
