He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Joyce; his children, Fiona and Cameron; his daughter-in-law Maria; his grandchildren, Isla, Kyle and Stewart; his great grandchildren, Louis and Beau; his brother Ian; and his caregiver Maude Hospital.
