Brian Murray Obituary

We announce the death of Brian Murray in Christchurch, South Island, who passed away on October 11, 2026. Brian will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his brother John; and his parents, Ena Laugesen and Keith Laugesen. He is survived by: his spouse Jude; his children, Mark, Ruth and Miriam; his child-in-law Redmer; his grandchildren, Daniel, Rosa and Benji; his brother Bruce; his sibling-in-law Ayleen; his stepchildren, David, Richard, Dairn and John; and his former wives, Helen Glasgow and Pauline Frances.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Oaklands.
