He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gwyneth, Fay and Adalene. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Hamish, Rob (Tracey) and Andrew (Natasha); his grandchildren, Sam, Josh, Charlotte, Olivia and Harriet; and his siblings, Alister (Helen), John, Judith (Luke Martin) and Margaret (Geoff Grant).

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Westpark (467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand).

In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated, and may be made online at stjohn.org.nz.
