He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Monica; his children, Carmen (Andrew), Greg (Anna) and Richard; his grandchildren, Roimata, Amelia, Mack and Tama; and his great grandchildren, Aaliyah and Jakoda.

A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Nga Hau (250 Pages Road, Wainoni, Christchurch 8062, New Zealand).
