He was predeceased by: his spouse Noeline; his child Noel Eckersley; and his siblings-in-law, Keith Morris and Barry Bruce. He is survived by: his children, Sue, Lloyd (Hokitika) and Mike; his grandchildren, Ryan, Danielle, Devon and Jessie; his great grandchildren, Lachlan and Giaan; and his sibling-in-law Dawn. He is also survived by uncle, and friend.
