With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Haythornthwaite (Christchurch, South Island), who passed away on March 28, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sibling Barbara. She is survived by: her spouse Richard; her children-in-law, David, Jane, Philip, Christine, Andrew, Pamela, Granny of Joshua, Samuel, Rachel and Mark; and her sibling Alison.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter would be appreciated and may be made at the service.
