He was predeceased by: his spouse Sue Whitten; and his significant other Bertha Allison. He is survived by: his children-in-law, Mary Grant, Warren Grant and Nick Whitten; his grandchildren, Matthew, Moira, Robin and Josi; his great grandchildren, Zane, Ruby-Louise, Lucy-Marie, Banjo and Sapphire; and his stepgrandchildren, Yacouba, Francie, Daniel, Virginie, Pia, Andrew, Finn and Vita.
