He was predeceased by : his parents, Eddie Seales and Joan Seales; and his sibling Claire (Bill Varcoe). He is survived by : his spouse Laraine; his children, Belinda (Mark Thompson) and Meredith (Hamish Gilbert); his step-children, Simon and Bronwyn Paterson; his grandchildren, Jack, Ben, Harry, Jake, Elise and Arthur; and his sister Julia (Paul O'Connell). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
