Ross Lester Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ross Lester in Merivale, South Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Ross farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ross is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Raymond Johnston and Esma Eva May Johnston; and his siblings, Noel (Carolyn) and Gary (Paula). He is survived by: his siblings, Lorraine and Peter (Julie).
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the AvonPark Chapel (2 Kerrs Road, Linwood, Christchurch 8062, New Zealand). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (2 Kerrs Road, Linwood, Christchurch 8062, New Zealand).
