It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Derek Francis O'Beirne (Nelson, South Island), who passed away on November 5, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Michele; his children, Megan, Dan, Lauren and Dave; his grandfather Hunter; and his siblings, Rod (Mary), Brigid (Rex), Kate (Ian), Pauline and Glenda (Phil).

Due to Covid restrictions impacting family travelling, a funeral service to celebrate Derek's life will be held at Gardens of the World, 95 Clover Road East, Hope on Thursday 26th November at 2pm followed by private cremation.
