In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife June; his children, Moira (Graeme) and Bronwyn (Richard); his grandchildren, Alys, Llew, Dan, Beatrix, Jimmy and Thomas; and his brothers, Murray, Cliff and Ian.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Our Rangiora Chapel (92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora 7400, New Zealand).
