With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mavis Evelyn (Rangiora, South Island), who passed away on April 1, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Hicks of Stewart Island; and her siblings, Margaret Holroyd and Lex Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Glenda and Murray; her daughter-in-law Sandra (Christchurch); her granddaughter Katie; her great grandchildren, Cam and Liam; her grandchildren, Charlotte and Guy; and her great grandchildren, Izzy and Henry (West Melton).
