In 1926, the Tuell Family opened the door to serve the Tacoma/Pierce County community with personal family care. In 1990, the McKee family carried on the tradition. In 1992 -Tuell-McKee Funeral and Cremation Services of Bremerton opened its doors to continue to serve people of all faiths and backgrounds with an affordable option.

In 1999, the Veterans Administration and Tahoma National Cemetery voted Tuell-McKee the #1 Funeral Home in the State of Washington for serving Veterans and their families.
